FkN is co-ordinating the Nordic delegation to Hot Docs in Toronto, securing Nordic professionals value-for-money access. Be part of the delegation!

Hot Docs is North America's premier documentary festival, market and conference, taking place in Toronto, Canada, 2-7 May 2010. It is one of the best events for doing business, getting creative inspiration and networking in the international documentary world, and it's a must if you are considering to venture into the North American market.

Besides the festival screenings, the Toronto Documentary Forum (TDF), an extensive programme of industry sessions, special market initivatives including the Sales Office and its Rendevouz service in addition to the International Co-production Day and the Doc Shop, make up a professional package not to be missed.

The Nordic delegation at Hot Docs

Members of the Nordic delegation will be given TDF Observer status. They will get a large discount of 42% on the price of the registration, and thus the rate for delegation members is CAD 550,00 excl. taxes. The TDF pass includes entry to all Hot Docs screenings and events as well as entry to the International Co-production Day.

Furthermore, delegation members will have access to Hot Docs one-on-one Rendevouz meetings with broadcasters and distributors from around the world, and each Nordic producer will receive the opportunity to submit programmes, on a 50% discounted basis, into the Doc Shop, Hot Docs' on-demand digital video library for international buyers and programmers.
