Since 1991 Filmkontakt Nord has worked in the field of Nordic and international financing, sales and distribution of both shorts and documentaries. Each year Filmkontakt Nord registers and watches over 500 new films produced in the Nordic region and the contact base covers over 4000 industry names from both the Nordic film community as well as the professionals of the international film community.

Throughout the years the organisation has acquired a vast knowledge on short and documentary film production, financing and distribution, all with a sharp eye on the great potential and high quality production of the Nordic film community.
