Promote your film
As a Nordic filmmaker, you can promote your film and reach international buyers, festival programmers and distributors by registering your film at Filmkontakt Nord.
All films registered are included in the online FkN Film Catalogue, where they are presented with key production and distribution information as well as free-to-watch trailers.
A DVD copy of the film is included in the FkN Video Library accessible for film professionals interested in Nordic short and documentary films.
Furthermore in the year of registration, films are included in Nordisk Panorama Market (NPM) taking place during Nordisk Panorama – 5 Cities Film Festival.
Last but not least, with a signed Licence Agreement films are included in Nordisk Panorama Market Online (NPM Online), a service provided by FkN for pre-screening purposes around the clock. In this password protected screening room, international festival programmers, buyers and distributors can stream full-length films year round at their own convenience. NPM Online is closely monitored.
Only approved market professionals will be given access to view the films and the statistics concerning who has seen your film will be made available to you.
Films registered at Filmkontakt Nord are promoted to more than 800 international TV-buyers, distributors and festival programmers through the FkN E-news Service as well as at selected international film festivals and markets throughout the year.
Registration of films is subject to a fee of DKK 1.200 per title (except for films in the national film institutes' festival distribution).
