Hanne Palmquist Continues as CEO of Nordisk Film & TV Fond
The Board of Nordisk Film & TV Fond has extended Hanne Palmquist’ contract until the end of 2012.
Hanne Palmquist was appointed CEO in 2007 and her contract was due to expire at the end of 2010.
Nordisk Film & TV Fond has an annual budget of approximately DKK 70 million. One third of the Fund's budget is provided by the Nordic Council of Ministers, one third by the Nordic film institutes and one third by Nordic public channels and commercial broadcasters. In May 2009, the Nordic culture ministers signed a new five-year agreement with Nordisk Film & TV Fond that will run until the end of 2014.

New Board at NRK
Former publisher’s editor of Aschehoug & Co., William Nygaard (67), has been appointed new Chairman of the Board at the Norwegian public broadcaster, NRK. Nygaard takes over from Hallvard Bakke.
The NRK Board has seen major renewals, with four new members appointed by the Swedish Cultural Department, and only one member being re-elected.
