Filmkontakt Nord is coordinating the Nordic delegation to Hot Docs in Toronto, securing Nordic professionals value-for-money access. Be part of the delegation!

Hot Docs is North America's premier documentary festival, market and conference, taking place in Toronto, Canada, 25 April - 5 May 2013. It is one of the best events for doing business, getting creative inspiration and networking in the international documentary world, and it's a must if you are considering to venture into the North American market.

Besides the festival screenings, the Hot Docs Forum, an extensive programme of industry sessions, special market initiatives including the International Co-production Day, the Distribution Rendevouz & Mingle, the Doc Shop, and the new Hot Docs Deal Maker meetings, all make up a professional package not to be missed.

The Nordic Delegation at Hot Docs

Members of the Nordic delegation will be offered:

All-Access Pass incl. Forum observer status at a large discount of 25% on the price of the registration. The rate for delegation members is CAD 600 excl. taxes. The pass includes entry to all Hot Docs Festival screenings, conference and Forum.

Entry to the International Co-production Day which features producer-to-producer networking meetings and a variety of panels on topics such as co-production case studies and regional updates. The day will also include networking opportunities such as the International Co-Production Day Luncheon and a private cocktail reception.
Access to apply to the one-on-one Deal Maker meetings with broadcasters and funders from around the world. Deal Maker applications deadline: 14 March (please note, you must be registered for Hot Docs before you can apply for Deal Maker).
Access to apply to the Distribution Rendevouz meetings with top level distributors, sales agents and festival programmers. Distribution Rendezvous applications deadline: 2 April.

Opportunity to submit one film for free, and subsequent titles on a 50% discounted basis, to the Doc Shop, Hot Docs' on-demand digital video library for international buyers and programmers. Doc Shop submissions deadline: 25 March.

Enhanced visibility through a Hot Docs ebulletin to over 20,000 people and at hotdocs.ca in the Official Delegations section.
